How much does it cost to fully upgrade a Pollen Flower?
- Level 1 - Available when unlocked
- Level 2 - 5 Glowbucks
- Level 3 - 10 Glowbucks
- Level 4 - 20 Glowbucks
- Level 5 - 40 Glowbucks
- Total Cost : 75 Glowbucks
Is it important to upgrade all Pollen Flowers?
It depends on your play style, but generally I only make pollen with Level 5 flowers. For FTP players, if you are low on Glowbucks, I would recommended that you to focus on setting aside 75 Glowbucks to upgrade a single pollen flower to Level 5, and leave the rest alone until you can afford it.
After you get your first Level 5 pollen flower, prioritise on other essential purchases like Limited Store Decorations, Visiting Moths or Premium Decorations.
Why? This is because:
1) A fully upgraded pollen flower helps you make the most out of your honeydew coins while producing pollen. In the long run, having a Level 5 pollen flower helps you to save on a lot coins as compared to making pollen from flowers at lower levels.
2) Pollen is held in your forest and not in individual pollen flowers. Although the amount of pollen you can hold in your forest depends on how many flowers you have, it does not mean that each flower can only produce or hold 1000 pollen. Even when you have several pollen flowers in your forest, you can just use 1 pollen flower to produce pollen until you reach the total maximum amount of pollen you can hold.
Therefore, with a bit of patience, you can simply rely on a single fully upgraded pollen flower to produce all the pollen you need.
