Delux Mu Dan Peony: A Starry Ability

Here's a quick post amongst the Chinese New Year bustle~!

The Fan Rong event is coming to a close. I hope you all have grabbed your pretty flowers!

Did you also notice something cool about the Delux Mu Dan Peony? Not only it triples a harvest for a moth, it also gives a sparkling aura to the moth when you use its ability! When the moth takes flight, it leaves a glittery trail that looks like shimmering stardust!

I like to use the ability on moths that produces an extra big payout. A whopping 1.6k harvest from my Luna Moth, yay for extra coins~! xD

Here is another pretty sparkle to pamper our eyes. :P

Sky Gazing In Starlight

You can zoom in and out of your forest to look at details, but did you notice that the sky is a fixed background that cannot be resized?

If you zoom in completely on the clearing above Michelle, you will be able to see past all the foliage. The result? The entire of Starlight's beautiful night sky!

You can enjoy a bit of sky gazing, marvel at the glittering shimmers, watch the fluffy clouds float by the moon, and even catch a falling star!

For more starry effects, go to your Settings and set Effects to High.

Effects: Low

Effects: High

You can pick your favourite moon phase and do a screenshot, wouldn't it be a nice wallpaper for your device's Lock Screen? =P

Excess Event Flowers

So after you have completed an event, what do you do with all the excess flowers?

These event flowers will be automatically converted into coins after the event ends, so before the deadline you can choose to either make extra moths with the flowers, or sell them all.

Unlike Flutter: Butterfly Sanctuary, there isn't really a point in making extra moths in Starlight unless you want to, and the extra moths don't sell for much, so usually I just merge my flowers and let the game sell it for me at the end of the event.

If you want to convert the flowers to honeydew, do note that 50% and 100% flowers are worth more than 10% and 20% ones. Check your flora inventory for the prices, and be sure to merge them all~!

Event Terminology: Completing vs Perfecting

Completing a Set

To complete a set, collect at least a copy of every moth in the set. You will unlock the very first decoration.

Perfecting a Set

This means that you have fully leveled up each moth to max Level 5. To do this, you need to fuse 5 copies of each moth together and feed them with the required amount of pollen. So if there are 4 different moths in the set, you need to hatch 20 moths altogether. You will get the 2nd decoration as a reward for perfecting the set.

Completing an Event

In order to complete an event, you need to perfect the set within the event duration. This earns you the 3rd and final exclusive decoration.

Wisp Events: What You Need To Know & Do

What is a Wisp event?

Read the long story here. Basically you release wisps from the Wisp Mama, and try to catch the wisps for event flowers.

When you click on "Try Capture", they will either escape and fly away, or get caught and give you a 10% flower of its rarity.

Source: Starlight Helpshift

Catching Wisps

1) Catch rates are predetermined

Unlike fireflies, the catch rate of wisps are set once they are released from the Wisp Mama. This means that once the wisp is spawned, the game already decided if the wisp is catchable or not. If the game sets the wisp to be uncatchable, there is nothing you can do to change that, except using a decoration ability or Gold netting them.

Therefore, you can debunk the many rumors about wisps that are floating around. You do not get a higher chance of catching wisps if they close their eyes. There is no need to watch them do a tribal dance and catch it at its lowest, or when it swings around. The catch rate does not increase if you hoard an army of wisps in your forest, it only messes things up instead.

If you are interested, search for videos on Youtube which show that wisps are predetermined.

2) Don't rush to catch them immediately after they spawn!

After you release the wisps, don't be in a hurry to tap and grab them all!

Know that at least 1 wisp is catchable with every spawn. Runaway may be evil, but they are not that insane to make none of the wisps catchable. (So far I have yet to encounter a zero harvest, and I better not get one!)

Since you will always end up with at least 1 catch per batch, catch the wisps in order of rarity. Get rid of the Common, Uncommon and the Rare wisps first. If all or most of these wisps escape, then there is a higher chance that the last Epic or Legendary wisps can be caught for free. If all the wisps in front get caught easily, then there is a very high chance that the last Legendary wisp that you are aiming for will escape. Narrow down your odds first, then decide if you want to go ahead and risk catching it for free, or buy a golden net to catch it, or leave it alone until you can use your decoration abilities on it.

3) Work backwards

As usual, concentrate on the rarest and hardest moth first. This does not mean that you simply swing at all the Legendary wisps you see, but rather you should save your resources and decoration abilities for the last moth first, then work backwards as you progress in the event.

If you have a Legendary wisp that you think will most likely escape, leave a couple of them floating around in your forest. They won't go anywhere until you attempt to catch it anyway. You can then use your deco duplicating/capturing abilities on it immediately when the cooldown is fully recharged.

4) Leaving wisps behind

As you leave several wisps alone to float around in your forest, you need to remember which are the older wisps and pay attention to identify the fresh ones that are released. So if you hoard too many of them it may get quite messy.

One good feature about wisps is that they actually shrink in size over time. Older wisps will be slightly smaller than the new ones.
Screenshot by Tate Morin, Flutter DYNASTY

If you reload the game after releasing wisps, they will have incomplete labels when you click on them. Fresh wisps will always be labelled properly. (A game update in v1.33 changed the way how wisp labels are displayed.)

Fresh Wisps are properly labelled with their rarity & difficulty
Wisps that are left behind will lose their labels once the game is reloaded

Too many wisps in your forest can obstruct your gameplay. If a wisp is blocking a moth and you cannot harvest honeydew coins, fly another moth onto the respective branch to displace the resting moth, or search for it in your inventory and click on the 'Find' button to make the moth take flight and give you the coins automatically.

5) Decoration abilities

M.V.P deco abilities will be the ones that allow you to catch a wisp without fail, or duplicate a wisp, or hurry the wisp mama. And of course, the ever so popular egg layers.

Do note that if you duplicate a wisp, you only copy its rarity and not its catch rate. The catch rate is randomly re-assigned as the wisp is cloned. This means that even if the original wisp is a catchable one, the cloned copy may or may not be catchable. Similarly, if you clone from a wisp that is uncatchable, it does not mean that the cloned copy will definitely be uncatchable too.

Like their parent wisps, the catch fate of the duplicated wisps are predetermined when they are cloned. If the game sets them to be uncatchable, they will escape without a golden net.

How to complete the event without spending real money?

1) Know how the game works

Knowing your enemy is half the battle won. If you had skipped to this segment immediately when you arrive on this page, go back and read the above section on Catching Wisps.

2) Set alarms

Morph into a robot and keep coming back into the game to release wisps when the Mama is ready.

3) Keep making pollen

To complete the entire set, you need to hatch and grow 5 copies of each moth, then fuse them together and feed them with pollen till they hit max Level 5. So naturally you will be needing a whole ton of pollen.

Keep making pollen till you burst your pollen capacity even if your creatures are not ready for feeding yet, so when they finally emerge you can make them feast immediately.

If you are low on honeydew, I suggest that you concentrate on using the cheapest pollen option only, they accumulate pretty fast every 30 seconds and you won’t blow a hole in your pocket, instead all you need is some patience and time.

Click here if you want to know how much pollen you need to level up event moths.

4) Maintain diligence, even during non event periods

If you do not have enough time to spend on Wisp events, some Glowbucks expenditure will be needed to speed up your progress. In order not to spend real cash, you will have to farm Glowbucks daily, by collecting Florida Tree Snail rewards, completing offers, opening gifts, catching petals, completing missions from Michelle, achieving Goals in the Flutterpedia etc.

5) Be careful on how you spend Glowbucks

Before you buy anything, always compare the prices first. Check if it is cheaper to buy a Golden net / buy flowers directly from the shop / pay to lay an egg / hurry an ability with Glowbucks. That way, you can make the most of what you have.

Hopefully this helps you along in your Starlight Wisp event journey~! If you have other tips, or if I missed out anything, do share and I’ll try to revise this guide accordingly.

Starlight's Real Life Creatures & Decorations

Ever wondered where the decorations and creatures in Starlight are inspired from? Interested to see how they look like in real life?

A couple of awesome peeps from Flutter DYNASTY are working to put together an album of all the flowers and animals seen in Starlight. This a pretty cool project initiated by Katie Rassbach! They even have another compilation for Flutter too! xD

Pollen Making & Pollen Flower Locations

What's your preferred pollen cycle? Since I have yet to fully expand my forest, I like to use the cheapest pollen making option to save on honeydew. It only takes 30 seconds to make 9 honeydew on a fully upgraded pollen flower, and they accumulate quickly over time. The rest of the pollen making options are simply overpriced!

However most of us don't have the luxury of time to sit in front of our devices and go on a clicking pollen spree. So apart from the least expensive method of pollen making, I sometimes like to go for the longest option too.

Costs only 100 Glowbucks during Half Price events

If you have a Bumble Bee, you can double the pollen made from a single shift!

A cool trick I learnt from my friends is that since the Bumble Bee has a 12 hour cooldown, you can set 2 pollen flowers on a 20 hour cycle and send the bee to one of them first.

When the flowers are done, free the bee by releasing the pollen and you will see that the bee's cooldown is completely recharged.

Now you can send him to the 2nd flower before popping it and tadaaa, you have doubled the pollen of both 20 hour shifts with 1 bee!

Pollen Capacity

Each pollen flower you unlock increases your holding capacity by 1000. There are a total of 6 pollen flowers in the game, which is a total of 6000 pollen you can hold in your rainforest.

Pollen is not held by individual flowers
Although the amount of pollen you can hold in your forest depends on how many flowers you have, it does not mean that each flower can only produce or hold 1000 pollen each.

For example, even when you have several pollen flowers in your forest, you can just use 1 pollen flower to produce pollen until you reach the total maximum amount of pollen you can hold. This is particularly useful if you want to keep your pollen to certain areas of your forests so they don't obstruct your view when hunting for bugs

It is possible to exceed your maximum pollen capacity
The game will only stop you from tapping on a particular pollen-making option if you do not have the space for it.

However, it is possible to burst your pollen capacity if you had already set your pollen flowers to work beforehand.

To check how much pollen you have in your forest, click on an open pollen flower to visit the 'Make Pollen' menu.

Unlocking Pollen Flowers

In the beginning you get 2 pollen flowers. After you have cleared 7 spots, you will see that the forest now has 4 different expansion paths. Due to increasing costs in forest expansions, it takes a while before you can unlock another pollen flower. The best way to find pollen flowers is to keep expanding in one direction until you get it.

In your forest, each expansion spot is labelled. If you see a butterfly symbol, it means that spot is a caterpillar nesting ground. If you see a flower symbol, you've found your next pollen generator!

Locations Of All Pollen Flowers

Here is a map with all the pollen flower positions marked. (Click on the picture below to expand it.)

It seems like Starlight's forest is shaped like an upside down moth! Pretty neat huh? xD

Core Sets: Save Your Attraction Flowers Via Combinations

Identifying Attraction Flower Combinations

It is possible to attract certain species of moths from core sets without using all 3 types of attraction flowers. This is done by reviewing the flower combinations and picking out the ones that stand alone from the others.

The best example would be the #80 Promethea Silkmoth from the Mythic Set. So far it is the only Legendary moth in the entire Flutterpedia. If you only place a 100% Legendary flower on your incubator, while ignoring flowers for its region and size, you will get the Promethea Silkmoth right off the bat! (Update: With the introduction of new core sets, certain moths will no longer be guaranteed via combinations.)

To see which flower combinations are required for each moth, click on the moth in the Flutterpedia.

Here are other possible combinations in Starlight that requires 2 flower types or less.

  • #5 Scarlet Phaudid - Hoshi Common Small
  • #8 Coppery Dysphania - Hoshi Rare Medium
  • #15 Sweet Potato Hornworm - Hawkmoth Common Large
  • #15 Sweet Potato Hornworm - Hawkmoth Common Large
  • #16 Elephant Hawkmoth - Hawkmoth Rare Medium
  • #120 - Marama Common Small
  • #120 - Marama Common Small
  • #123 - Marama Rare Medium
  • #123 - Marama Rare Medium
  • #124 - Marama Epic Large
  • #125 - Marama Legendary Large
  • #9 Ruby Tiger - Silva Common Small
  • #11 Tau Emperor - Silva Rare Large
  • #11 Tau Emperor - Silva Rare Large
  • #11 Tau Emperor - Silva Rare Large
  • #13 Garden Tiger Moth - Silva Epic Medium
  • #43 Phileta Tiger Moth - Chausiku Rare Medium
  • #44 Veined Monkey - Chausiku Epic Medium
  • #45 Pink Dalcera - Estrella Common Small
  • #47 Anomalous Bluetail - Estrella Rare Small
  • #47 Anomalous Bluetail - Estrella Rare Small
  • #49 Diva Moth - Estrella Epic Medium
  • #76 Hieroglyphic Moth - Mythic Common Small
  • #76 Hieroglyphic Moth - Mythic Common Small
  • #78 Pandora Spinx - Mythic Rare Medium
  • #79 Polyphemus Moth - Mythic Epic Large
  • #79 Polyphemus Moth - Mythic Epic Large
  • #80 Promethea Silkmoth - Mythic Legendary Large
  • #22 Venezuelan Poodle Moth - Apoyo Common Small
  • #23 Rosy Maple Moth - Apoyo Uncommon Small
  • #24 Pink-striped Oakwoem Moth - Apoyo Rare Medium
  • #25 Common Australian Aenetus - Apoyo Epic Medium

If you are a beginner who has yet to unlock the rest of the core sets, you're in luck because the 2 moths listed below have unique combinations due to a reduced number of moths available.
  • Flutterpedia Score 450- 3990: #124 Marama Epic Large
  • Flutterpeida Score 450 - 3990: #125 Marama Legendary Large
  • Flutterpedia Score 0 - 790: #15 Sweet Potato Hornworm - Hawkmoth Common Large
  • Flutterpedia Score 800 - 1490: #13 Garden Tiger Moth - Silva Epic Medium (without Apoyo #25)

The same theory applies for the Apoyo set where moths unlock at different Social levels.
  • Level 10 - 19: #22 Venezuelan Poodle Moth - Apoyo Common Small

Lacking Region Flowers?

Don't have enough Region flowers for your next attraction? You may want to gamble on a random attraction with Rarity and/or Size flowers only. The success rate may not be guaranteed, but it still raises the odds of getting the particular moth you want.

Good luck at saving precious flowers from your flora inventory~!

Premium Decorations: Are They Useful?

Considering that moths in Starlight do not have abilities, this is quite a nifty addition to the game! However looking at the prices of these decos, it might take some time before anyone can collect them all. So if you are a semi-FTP player who wants to make the most out of your Glowbucks / money, this is the prefect review for you. I will be ranking these Premium Decorations in the order of their usefulness, from the least useful to the best buy.

Well... the term "usefulness" is pretty subjective, so let me clarify by saying that the word "useful" here means the deco can help you to gain something to make progress in your game which you otherwise would not be able to. Just assume that this review is written from the perspective of a stingy-ass player who always want to squeeze blood out of stone. They are just my opinions, feel free to disagree. :)

Ok lets get rolling~!

No. 6
Parrot Flower
Screenshot by Clarissa Chew

This is deco ranks at the bottom in terms of usefulness because it doesn't even give you a single honeydew coin, but it is the most Fun to have deco in the whole set~! This guy lets you customise your pollen flowers the way you want them to be. Apparently the colours of pollen flowers in your forest are randomly assigned when you unlock them, so this ability lets you fix that by rotating it among a series of colours, once every 5 days. I am not sure of the specific order yet, so I will update again when I discover them all~!

UPDATE: Check out the available colours here!

No. 5
Moon Orchid
Screenshot by Tate Morin, Flutter DYNASTY

No matter how people criticise that this deco is stinking useless, this flower is my ABSOLUTE favourite. Not only I am a stingy-ass player, I am also a lazy-ass person! This deco helps you to harvest honeydew from moths which are ready for collection with a cool down of 4 hours (you need to activate the ability manually yourself), and I am SO GLAD that Runaway added this feature! Imagine when you wake up in the morning and open up your game, especially on a tiny phone screen, you need to click... click... click... click...click... move to another forest section... click... click... cli... whoops thats a misclick... reclick...  arghh misclicked again...  ***flips table***

And yeps, normal fireflies still spawn as normal when you use this ability, and when they all appear at the same time you get an explosive sound effect! TADAA~! xD

No. 4
Red Slipper
Currency in SGD

If you have pretty good time management skills, you need not rely on this at all. Eventually, you will achieve the same results when your caterpillar hatches from the egg. AND it costs $$$ too!

However, this deco may just save your life one day, when you are running low on time during an exclusive moth event. It is also a little appealing to casual players who just can't wait for their babies to hatch. In future, if Runaway releases challenging events in which players are required to rush through time, this deco may finally see light and rise up the ranks.

No. 3
Singing Orchid
Screenshot by ç«¥å½¤, Flutter DYNASTY

Finally a deco from the Premium set that actually gives you stuff! Yay for free coins... wait what? That's it?

It seems like if you use this ability normally, you can gain an extra few thousand coins per day. Oh wells, considering that you need to be a zillionare to fully unlock your forest, we can't say no to extra coins can we?

Well... that is if you use it normally. Do not underestimate the power of stingy-ass players! If you make a hoard of legendary moths fly in circles around the same spot, you can trigger more harvests with this ability! Muahahaha~! Tho after that I got extremely lazy and can't be bothered to do it again. Zzzzz...

No. 2
Red Plumeria
Screenshot by Jessi Flutter, Flutter DYNASTY

A.K.A The Chopper. It clears one-fifth of an expansion foliage, meaning that it only takes away 1 out of 5 leafs required to fully open a spot. This helps when it feels like it is going to take foreverrrrrrrr to fully expand your forest, although some might argue that you will get there eventually. There is no need to rush to hoard an army of Red Plumerias because once you have maxed out your forest, they become useless instantly.

And finally.... *drumroll*... The King of all Decorations!

No. 1
Star Lotus
Currency in SGD

Like its name, this gorgeous fellow is a star among the other decos! This flower simply floats in all our drools, mainly due to its pricetag that could potentially hypnotize anyone into an instant noodles diet for the rest of the week.

Needless to say, this deco is perfect for perfecting any moth, especially flutters from the limited edition event sets or the Zodiac collection.

Sigh... Ramen anyone?

Visiting Moths: Collecting Past Event Sets

Whee yay~! First official guide for the blog~! :D

How does collecting Visiting Moths help me?

If you are a fairly new player or if you have missed out some of the previous events, you can pay Visiting Moths to lay eggs to complete past event sets for decoration rewards. These special decos earned from events have abilities, some of which are useful and may help you with future gameplay.

Each event set has 3 decoration rewards. If you collect at least 1 of each moth in the set, you get the 1st deco. If you perfect all the moths in the set by fusing 5 copies of each moth and feeding them with pollen to Level 5, you earn the 2nd deco. However, the 3rd and final deco is exclusive to players who perfected the moths during the event duration itself. It is not sure if Runaway will re-release them in future.

But the cost to lay an egg is so egg-pensive!

Yea they can get pricey. The cost is determined by the rarity of the moth:

Legendary - 500 Glowbucks
Epic - 350 Glowbucks
Rare - 200 Glowbucks
Uncommon - 100 Glowbucks
Common - 50 Glowbucks

If you have an Egg Layer deco (lays a free egg very 7 days), you can buy 1 copy of each visiting moth and use the deco to perfect your moths over time. (You cannot use the Egg Layer ability on the Visiting Moth itself, it would be nice if it actually works but sorry nope. :P)

Screenshot by Peggy Fornea, Flutter DYNASTY

Weekend Bonus Events - Half Price Egg-Laying

The good news is, Half Price Egg Laying applies to Visiting Moths! This means the Legendary moth that you are eyeing will be 250 Glowbucks instead of 500 during the event! Look out for such Weekend Bonus events on your game calendar!

How often will I get a Visiting Moth?

They will only visit you when you are in your game, so do not worry about missing a Visiting Moth if you are offline. When they do visit you, you get a notification and they will hang around for an hour.

I've heard that if you buy an egg from a Visiting Moth, you will get another visitor the next day. However if you ignore the visitor, it takes about 4 days for them to visit you again.
UPDATE: Due to changes in the game, Visiting Moths should now grace your forest every 24 hours, regardless of their egg purchases.

The Visiting Moth that you will get is totally random, and usually you should get a moth that you have not discovered yet.

UPDATE: Check out a new guide on Frequency of Visiting Moths!

Weekend Bonus Events - Moth Mania

Look out for Weekend Bonus events like Moth Mania, where you can get a Visiting Moth every hour!

Which event sets should I go for?

If you have limited Glowbucks, it is understandable that you may be picky in choosing which moths to buy. If you want something useful which helps you with future Wisp events, go for moths in the Boom set. If you want a Gift Resetter to speed up your progress in the Apoyo core set, perfect the Hanwi set. It's up to you really, you can also simply pick the prettiest looking deco for your forest~!

The entire list of event moth sets and the deco abilities are listed in the archives here and here, so you can choose which one to concentrate on and estimate the costs at a glance.

It takes time, effort and a lot of patience to get these pretty flutters. Good luck and have fun~!

Firefly Events: What You Need To Know & Do

Screenshot by Makaylah McCrossen

During firefly events in Starlight, event fireflies will be available. Collect honeydew from your moths to make these fireflies pop up, and feed them to Trevor for event flowers in order to attract the special flutters in the set!

Why are there so few event fireflies?

Chances are you are doing things wrong. During the event a preset number of event treats will spawn at regular intervals. Some people call this a Flush Cycle. You will need to find out how long is the cycle for the particular event and how many fireflies spawn at each cycle.

For the previous Osten event, 3 event fireflies spawn every 3 hours. Later Runaway shortened the cycle to 2 hours. The Fan Rong event had 4 purple treats every 3 hours. Luckily, there are helpful players in online communities who will share these information, so look out for them! :)

(The current trend for flush cycles in firefly events are 4 event treats after 3 hours.)

How to finish the event without spending real money?

1) Set alarms

Keep coming back into the game after each cycle to collect your fireflies. The fireflies don’t accumulate offline so even if you come back into the game after a day or two, you only complete 1 cycle and have to wait for the next one again. Set a timer, or an alarm so you don’t forget.

2) Have a couple of unleveled moths with the shortest cooldown times

After each cycle, when you come back into the game, you will be wanting to collect all of the event fireflies, so you need to trigger as many harvests as possible till you get them all.

Unleveled beginner moths (eg. Yellow Furry Legs) have short cooldowns and you can harvest them every few seconds. In case you are missing the last firefly spawn, you can stay in the game and keep harvesting till it drops into your forest. This also means that you need not worry about collecting your honeydew before the flush cycle is complete. You can even collect all event treats from a single Yellow Furry Leg from multiple harvests every few seconds!

3) Clear your Cage regularly

The fireflies will not spawn if Trevor's treat cage is stuffed full. The maximum number of treats it can hold is 10, and this applies to both purple and normal fireflies. So for example if you have 4 purple fireflies and 6 normal fireflies, the new event treats cannot spawn.

If your cage is full, you will get a notification to clear it whenever a firefly tries to spawn. When that happens, you have lost a firefly. You will then have to wait for the next flush cycle to get more.

4) Pick up the event treats before they poof

When I didn't pay attention to my game and left my purple fireflies hanging around in the forest, they disappeared when I came back! Just in case I was imagining things, I tested it out by leaving a few of them alone after a flush. When I re-login a few minutes later, they were gone once more! So make sure to collect them immediately and store them in your cage!

5) Concentrate on the Rarest & Hardest moth first, and work backwards

Save your egg laying abilities or glowbucks for the last legendary creature first. Then work backwards as you progress in the event. If you are able to complete the hardest moth within the event, chances are you should have no problem tackling the rest of the set.

6) Keep making pollen

To perfect the entire set, you need to hatch and grow 5 copies of each moth, then fuse them together and feed them with pollen till they hit max Level 5.

7) Prepare in advance, plan ahead

For events with short durations, save up your special abilities before the event starts so you can make the most out of them.

8) Buying attraction flowers vs Egg Laying

In case you are running out of time, or simply just want that last 10% flower so you can cook your next egg, you can choose to buy event flowers with Glow/Flutterbucks. Go to your flower inventory and select a particular flower to see how much it costs. So if you have a handful of bucks saved up from watching all that Florida Tree Snail videos, you can put them to good use!

Before you spend anything, remember to compare costs between buying flowers / paying to lay an egg / paying to hurry an egg layer ability, to see which one is cheaper and more cost effective.

10%? 20%? 50%? 100%?

Each to its own. I personally collect all treats and use 100% event attraction flowers only. 50% or lower percentage flowers have a tendency to be evil... veryyyyy evil. :K

Hopefully this helps you along in your Starlight Firefly event journey~! If you have other tips, or if I missed out anything, do share and I’ll try to revise this guide accordingly.

Decoration Rewards & Abilities

Cosmetic deco. Yay for exploding stardust~!

**
This feels like Runaway's Ang Pao giveaway in the game. Lol~! So instead of giving you red packets during the Chinese New Year, they give you a deco that lets you get more Honeydew coins! Earns you maybe an extra 1k coins every half a day if you use it on a legendary moth, tho not something to go crazy over. It also gives your moth a sparkling aura.

The 4th egg hurrier released in Starlight.
