Joya Wisp Event: Moth Set and Deco Abilities

This event started one hour after the weekend bonus ended. (Sunday 18 June, 4PM PST) The calendar is unable to show the start of the event due to the weekend bonus which took up the calendar spot.

Moth Set

#110 Colorful Tortrix Moth

#111 Princely Tiger Moth

#112 Bullseye Moth

#113 Brazilian Day-flying Moth

#114 Eyetailed Moth

Decoration Rewards & Abilities

You don't need this deco if you refer to the Wiki page for a list of missions and their required moths, but it is still handy for those who are lazy to look for the correct moth on their own. xD

After you activate this ability, the game only zooms into a valid moth in your forest, you still have to fly the selected moth to the mission branch yourself.

****
This is undoubtedly one of the important decorations that helps to speed up the collection of Zodiac flowers.

*****
The 5th free Egg Layer, an all time favourite ability~

Joya Event Update. What's New In v1.33.

(This post is backdated to the day of game update.)

Unfortunately no official 'spoilers' were released this time round. No new game icon, no promotional banners, no sneak peeks, no forest makeover previews... Only a sad lonely Flutterpedia segment for new event decorations:

But we do get to see some new stuffs in the game~! Some of them are listed in the game update description:

Yay for new languages~! Currently the language for your Starlight game is based on your device's language settings. It would be great if we could actually select the language we want in the game, instead of having to switch our default language in our device...

Beetle Bank Update:

The Beetle Bank from the Flutter: Butterfly Sanctuary is brought over to Starlight! For each day you check-in on your Starlight calendar, you get free Glowbucks added into your Beetle Bank stash!

You can cash out your Glowbucks in your Beetle Bank through the shop. And yes, it requires real money to claim them:

Price in SGD

The good news is, the price seems to stay the same even after collecting a bunch of Glowbucks. It would be actually quite nifty to pay a dollar to withdraw few hundreds of Glowbucks from the Beetle Bank savings~!

Hopefully the price to withdraw Glowbucks don't increase... xD

Game User Interface Updates

~Wisp Events~

Wisp labels are no longer blank for old wisps. (boo... T_T)

This is bad news for those who like to hoard wisps during events, as older and existing wisps in your forest keep their labels even after the game is reloaded, this means you can no longer differentiate between newly produced wisps from the old ones via their labels anymore. You will just have to keep your eyes glued to your screen to see where the new wisps fly to in your forest.

Tho I guess this change makes the game look neater? xD

~Friends Tab~

Points for social activities (gifting and sharing moths on Facebook etc) have a new look:

I am too lazy to update the other guides to include this new look, so I guess the globe icons in my old screenshots and guides for Social Levels will stay purple for now. xD

~Others~

Some other GUI updates include a new gear icon for the Settings menu, as well as a new interface for the news segment.

Weekend Bonus: Moth Mania (Visiting Moths)

Event Timer

Bonus Effects:

  1. Visiting Moths from past events will appear in your forest until the event is over
  2. From 11 October 2017 onwards, any visiting moth bought will be fully leveled.

Notes:

Each Visiting Moth will stay in your forest for an hour before disappearing.

You will only get a Visiting Moth if you are in your game. If you are offline, the effects don't apply.

The Visiting Moth that you will get is random.

You need to have a Flutterpedia score of 1225 and above to be able to receive visitors.

Only undiscovered moths that are not registered in your Flutterpedia will visit. If you buy an egg and did not raise it into an adult in time before the next visitor, it is possible to get the same visitor again since technically you do not have that moth in your Flutterpedia yet. (However, it is not worth it to buy a 2nd copy of the same visitor because the eggs are overpriced. You can buy eggs from an adult moth for half the price of a visiting moth.)

For a more in-depth guide on visiting moths, read this guide. To see details of past event, moths sets and decoration abilities, click here.
