Update Summary

Flutterpedia Updates

The Flutterpedia is updated with a new section for the Sparkler event decoration rewards.

A new deco via the event shop pack is also added.


GUI Updates

Players can now switch languages without having to restart the game.

To change your language, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Gear icon on the top left corner of your game



2. Select Settings



3. Click on Language



4. Select your preferred language and exit the menu. The changes will be applied immediately

To view this pop up, click on Settings > News.

You will need a valid e-mail address. After your email address has been verified, a gift of 25 Glowbucks will be sent to your forest! Whee~!

Looks like Runaway did some icon overhaul and made some changes to the main menu.

The social button now looks like... smiley cookies. xD

There is another new decoration segment in the Flutterpedia... so far we don't have any information about it. Maybe something new is coming soon? xD

Florida Tree Snail Video Ads Overhaul

The video ads system has been revamped and brought over from Flutter.  Players now spin a wheel to earn rewards after watching a video ad.

Prizes are based on Flutterpedia score & RNG luck.

I have mixed feelings about this new system. Compared to the previous system, Honeydew coins payouts have increased but on the other hand, it is harder to earn storage expansion items. Glowbuck payouts seem to be more consistent, but you may need to spin several times for it. 

New Character Dialogues & Event Costumes

Character costumes are common in Flutter, but for the first time in Starlight, the Runaway Art team has given a makeover to Michelle and Trevor for the Wiesn Event! How cute is that! xD

Trevor has new additional dialogues too! You can spam tap on him to read them all.

Trevor you need exercise! xD

v1.35 Update! Yinhe Event Sneak Peeks & New Core Set!

v1.35 of Starlight is up live! You can download the update via Google Play or the App Store.

First up, event sneak peeks! The upcoming Yinhe event will be a Wisp event.

New Game Icon!

Wow the lotus flower looks beautiful!

For those who stumbled upon the 'Testing' bug and accidentally triggered the event by mistake, you would know that this event will have an AWESOME background makeover and decorations! The Runaway Art team has outdone themselves once more!

I would not reveal too much but here is a little teaser, this is a little screenshot of the night sky (which you can also see in the previous banner). Look out for the cool trinkets in the incubator and Trevor's den once the event starts!

Game Updates

New Core Set!

Starlight has released a brand new core set with moths from New Zealand! All players will be able to unlock this set once their Flutterpedia score reaches 450.

To get region flowers for the new Marama set, feed Trevor with fireflies. For veteran players, you may also like to try your luck to attract the new moths by playing around with the flower combinations. 

Bugs & Issues

At the start of the update, there was "Testing" bug which messed up the game progress of several players. Runaway has fixed the bug and are addressing the game accounts of those affected.

For those who still have issues or have your calendars stuck in time travel, please do the following:

1) Clear both your Cache and game Data.

2) Launch your game and re-download all the game updates.

3) If your calendar is still affected, or your game is still glitched, send in a ticket via the Help menu in-game or via this link here.

For those who time travelled, Runaway will probably rollback your accounts to the present. 

However when my game was fixed, I lost my calendar login progress for 9 & 10 August. I guess this is where I have to say goodbye to my perfect calendar login streak. :'( *sniff*

Ameku Event Update. What's New In v1.34

Yay~! 'Spoiler' event banners are back for this update! We get to have a sneak peek of some of the pretty moths that will be released in the coming Ameku Event! <3

GUI Updates

I might have missed this out during the previous update in v1.33, but the Visiting Moth icon has a new remake! I think this is pretty neat. xD

Not sure if it is a bug, but there might have been changes to the Visiting Moth system, because I got these 2 visitors over 2 consecutive days even when I did not buy any eggs. I will update the Visiting Moths guide when I find out more.

Language Updates

My wish has been heard! *throws confetti* We can now choose our preferred language for Starlight! To change your language, just tap the Gear icon to open up your Settings menu, and click on Language.

Sweet huh? xD

Removal of Offers Wall

Kere Harding from Flutter Dynasty gave us a heads up that Runaway has decided to take down the Offers Walls form Starlight.

This applies to v1.34 onwards, so if you have not updated your game from Google Play or the App Store, this is you last chance to earn some free Glowbucks from the Offers Wall before we all have to move on with the new game version.

We will miss the Offers Wall icon~ :(

Hopefully Runway will come up with other features for FTP players to earn some free Glowbucks in future.
