Feeding Trevor with Toad Delicacies

We all know that if you feed Trevor a toad treat, he will give you a random 10% flower. But have you tried feeding him with toad delicacies?


How to get Toad Delicacies for free?

Unfortunately unlike normal firefly treats, toad delicacies do not spawn while harvesting honeydew coins. You can buy delicacies from Trevor for 20 Glowbucks each, or sometimes they are available at Daily Deals in the shop for a discounted price of 10 Glowbucks.

If you have the Exclusive Black Bat Flower (earned from perfecting the Yokai set within the event duration), you can create a Jack O' Lantern daily. Usually it drops regular toad treats, but if you are lucky enough you may get a toad delicacy!

What flowers can I get from Toad Delicacies?

Feeding Trevor a fat juicy firefly will give you a flower that has a 20% success rate or higher, and also has a minimum value of 20 Glowbucks. This includes Apoyo, Lunar or even flowers with a 100% success rate!

To check the value of a flower, open up your flora inventory and click on it to see how much it costs.

Therefore, if you buy a toad delicacy, you are essentially gambling on a chance to get flowers of a higher value.

This also means that you will never get any cheap flowers. However, like normal firefly treats, you cannot get any Zodiac or event flowers from toad delicacies.

An interesting point to note about toad delicacies, is that they will ever give you any region flowers from sets that you have already perfected! For example, if you have already perfected your entire Lunar set, you will no longer receive any Lunar flowers from Trevor when you feed him a toad delicacy. This is one nifty feature to ensure that your fat firefly will tend to produce something that is beneficial to your game.

Therefore, the full list of flowers that you will NOT get from toad delicacies are:

• Polilla flowers
• Hoshi flowers
• Hawkmoth flowers
• Small flowers
• Common flowers
• Uncommon flowers
• Zodiac flowers
• Event flowers
• Any Region flowers from sets that you've already perfected

Mass Feeding Experiment!

If you are a FTP player, I wouldn't recommend relying too much on toad delicacies. I have completed all my core sets (except Zodiac & Apoyo since I've yet to unlock all moths) without purchasing a toad delicacy. Unless you really need that last 20% Apoyo / Lunar flower, it might be better to focus on harvesting normal toad treats and doing missions for regular flowers instead. 

But justtttttt for funnn, I decided to test out the toad delicacies in the game to see how often Trevor gives certain flowers. Here are my results, but bear in mind that apart from Apoyo and Zodiac sets, I have already perfected all other core sets including the Lunar moths, therefore Trevor will not be giving me any other region flowers.

From a sample size of 101 Toad Delicacies, Trevor gave me the following flowers:

• 100% Medium - 12
• 100% Large - 11
• 100% Rare - 16
• 50% Epic - 10
• 100% Epic - 1
• 20% Legendary - 15
• 50% Legendary - 7
• 100% Legendary - 3
• 20% Apoyo - 16
• 50% Apoyo - 8
• 100% Apoyo - 2

So... looking at these results, you can decide for yourself if it's worthy enough to pamper Trevor with delicacies~! Good luck with your haul~! xD
