How to add friends in Starlight
You need to make sure that you and your friend plays Starlight, and both of you are friends on Facebook. You will then be able to see each other in your Friends list on Starlight.
If you are looking to add more Starlight friends, you can look for people on the official Starlight Facebook page. There are always plenty of players who post that they are looking for friends.
You can also join several Flutter / Starlight Facebook communities like Flutter DYNASTY. You will find many other friendly players in the Friend Request thread who are also seeking for peeps to add.
Gifting in Starlight & Gift Resetters
To send a gift, select a friend on your Friends list and click on the Gift button.
You can send up to 5 free gifts a day for 1 social point each. If you want to send more gifts for extra social points, it cost 2 Glowbucks per gift.
If you have a Gift Resetter decoration, you can send more free gifts when the cool down timer is recharged! For a list of available Gift Resetter decorations and which moth sets to complete to earn the decos, visit this page.
Tip: After you have used a Gift Resetter ability, remember to leave your game running on your device past midnight. Either open it up on your screen, or let it run in the background without exiting the app completely. When the clock ticks past midnight, go back to your friends list. You will not only see that the number of gifts has been reset, but you can also gift an extra batch of gifts on top of your 5 regular free gifts! (This will not work if you reload your game from a fresh login after a new day.)
Managing your Friends List
It is up to you on how many Starlight friends you wish to have, but I personally recommend having at least a list of approximately 15 active friends in Starlight. If you have a Gift Resetter decoration that gives +5 free gifts, add 5 more friends for each deco that you have on top of the 15.
Even if you can only send 5 free gifts a day, you can still send the gifts to your friends on a rotation basis. Assuming all your 15 friends are active and open up your gifts daily, each of your friends can recieve at least 1 gift in 3 days. Also, if some of your friends do go inactive for a while, you will not face a sudden shortage of friends to gift since you have other people on your list.
Sometimes Runaway will throw Double Gifting events, where you can send a double amount of free gifts for a period of time. This means that during the event you can send up to 10 free gifts daily! You will need a good amount of friends to be able to handle this increase.
If you have a Gift Resetter decoration, and you like to leave your game running past midnight, it is possible to send up to 25 gifts every 3 days! Wheee~!
