This is the 2nd deco with this ability, and it is somewhat useful for saving some honeydew coins over a long period of time.

This deco is nice to have, but not a must have, since you usually can make enough pollen over time. Still, it is something new!

Bee Fly Growth Stages & Rewards

Usually most of us will find that the Bee Fly is quite a brat. It always seems to get in our way. On top of that, it's a nimble pollen thief too!

However, for those who are curious, here are details of the Bee Fly's growth stages and a possible list of rewards.

Growth Stages

The Bee Fly is unlocked when the Flutterpedia reaches a score of 1700. It has 4 growth stages, from baby to adult. Each stage consumes more pollen and *supposedly* drops better items.

Level 1 Stage: Baby
Pollen per Level: 150
Level 30 Stage: Young
Pollen per Level: 250
Level 60 Stage: Teen
Pollen per Level: 400
Level 100 Stage: Grown Up
Pollen per Level: 600

Total amount of pollen required to reach Level 100: 27850

Rewards & Drop List

Items that you can get from the Bee Fly are random. Just for fun, I fed a Bee Fly from Level 1 to 100 on an account with a Flutterpedia score of 3000, and logged all its drops:

In this experiment, the most frequent drops are storage expansion items and attraction flowers. It seems like you need to unlock a core set to be able to receive certain region flowers from the Bee Fly.

Is feeding the Bee Fly worth it?

If you are looking for attraction flowers, probably not.

However, if you are low on expansion items, you may want to try your luck at binge feeding or give your extra pollen to the Bee Fly, and hope that it gives you the item you need. Apart from that, most of us secretly wish we could lock the Bee Fly up in our storage so we do not accidentally let it ninja our pollen.

*Burppp~!*

Ameku Event Flower Drop Rates (Detailed Breakdown)

From a sample size of 239 event fireflies, here are the drop rates for each flower according to their rarity:

Common Event Flowers - 88 (36.82%)

Uncommon Event Flowers - 58 (24.27%)

Rare Event Flowers - 39 (16.32%)

Epic Event Flowers - 29 (12.13%)

Legendary Event Flowers - 25 (10.46%)

Fireflies spawn rate for the Ameku event is 4 purple fireflies after a 3 hour flush.

The above data is collected from the beginning of the event. For detailed daily data, refer to the this spreadsheet here. Or you can refer to a summary in the screenshot below:

According to the above data, you need to collect approximately 383 fireflies to be able to complete this event on 100% flowers without the help of Egg Layers. It is a pity that I was only able to collect 239 fireflies as I was busy overseas during the second half of the event.

Do note that these are only ballpark figures and this guide is just to help you get a realistic expectation of how active you need to be during a firefly event in order to complete it.

v1.35 Update! Yinhe Event Sneak Peeks & New Core Set!

v1.35 of Starlight is up live! You can download the update via Google Play or the App Store.

First up, event sneak peeks! The upcoming Yinhe event will be a Wisp event.

New Game Icon!

Wow the lotus flower looks beautiful!

For those who stumbled upon the 'Testing' bug and accidentally triggered the event by mistake, you would know that this event will have an AWESOME background makeover and decorations! The Runaway Art team has outdone themselves once more!

I would not reveal too much but here is a little teaser, this is a little screenshot of the night sky (which you can also see in the previous banner). Look out for the cool trinkets in the incubator and Trevor's den once the event starts!

Flutterpedia Updates

The Flutterpedia is updated with a new section for the Yinhe event decoration rewards.

A new 'Qixi festival theme shop pack' with a new deco will be available during the event too.

Save up some Glowbucks if you think you want to buy it!
(Previous event hampers were priced at 100 Glowbucks.)

Game Updates

New Core Set!

Starlight has released a brand new core set with moths from New Zealand! All players will be able to unlock this set once their Flutterpedia score reaches 450.

To get region flowers for the new Marama set, feed Trevor with fireflies. For veteran players, you may also like to try your luck to attract the new moths by playing around with the flower combinations.

Bugs & Issues

At the start of the update, there was "Testing" bug which messed up the game progress of several players. Runaway has fixed the bug and are addressing the game accounts of those affected.

For those who still have issues or have your calendars stuck in time travel, please do the following:

1) Clear both your Cache and game Data.

2) Launch your game and re-download all the game updates.

3) If your calendar is still affected, or your game is still glitched, send in a ticket via the Help menu in-game or via this link here.

For those who time travelled, Runaway will probably rollback your accounts to the present.

However when my game was fixed, I lost my calendar login progress for 9 & 10 August. I guess this is where I have to say goodbye to my perfect calendar login streak. :'( *sniff*
