Rosa Wisp Event: Moth Set and Deco Abilities

This event is in line with Valentine's Day.

Moth Set

#90 Common Pink-barred

#91 Rosy Pink

#92 African Pink Grass

#93 Small Elephant Hawkmoth

#94 Male Helferi Silkmoth

Decoration Rewards & Abilities

A cosmetic deco that makes your moths feel all lovey dovey ♥♥♥

*
This will probably let you save a small bunch of coins, the most expensive fuse is approximately 5000+ coins. This is not really useful in my opinion, but still it is nice to have a little discount from time to time.

Random note: This Zodiac moth costs 6500 coins to fuse per level:

*****
The 3rd free Egg Layer released in Starlight, not including the Star Lotus from the Premium Decorations. This is the only valuable decoration in this event.

Deco Visuals

Made by Lizzie Flutter from Flutter DYNASTY

Limited Store Purchase
Available during the Rosa Event only

In general, this event is quite useless unless you perfect the entire set within the event duration itself to earn the last exclusive Egg Layer. The first 2 decos are just mehs, and you may want to put them on your low priority list.

A FTP Guide To Earning Free Glowbucks

Ranked from the hardest to the easiest, here are 10 way to earn Glowbucks, completely free~!

1) Contests by Runaway

Sometimes Runaway will hold contests or lucky draws on their Facebook Page. Participate in them for a chance to win Glowbucks!

2) Giveaways by Runaway

Especially during special holidays, you can sometimes get freebies just by logging into the game!

Runaway gave away 50 GBs to each player for Thanksgiving! Whee~!

3) Hunting Bugs

Barkbugs and Leafbugs often appear randomly in the game. Tapping on them yields Honeydew coins, expansion materials or if you are super lucky, Glowbucks.

There are also decoration abilities that makes them spawn.

Creepy Bugs are exclusive Halloween event bugs which appeared for a limited time. They have the same functions as Barkbugs and Leafbugs. Now they no longer randomly pop out in the game, but if you have the Deluxe Black Bar Flower decoration you can use its ability to summon 10 of them.

4) Discovering New Moth Species

You earn 1 Glowbuck for any new moth that you discover in the game. There are a total of 49 moths in the core sets excluding event moths.

5) Completing Flutterpedia Goals

Some goals in the Flutterpedia reward Glowbucks, and can only be earned once. When claimed, it becomes a check off the list.

6) Catching Petals

Petals occasionally spawn randomly, and if you use a moth to chase it, it will drop 1 Glowbuck on its 4th catch. (The first 3 catches drop Honeydew coins.)

TIP: Smaller moths fly faster and are easier to use when chasing petals.

If you have the final exclusive decoration from the Bulan Set, you can farm 1 free Glowbuck a day!

7) Opening Gifts

Basic gifts from friends or from decoration abilities sometimes drop Glowbucks. If you are lucky you may get 2 Glowbucks per gift. During a double gift rewards event you can even earn double amount of Glowbucks from each gift!

There are several Gift Duplicators that allow you to create an extra gift. (Gift contents are not copied over and are still randomly determined by the game.)

8) Michelle's Missions

Here is a list of missions that reward Glowbucks and the moths required for them:

  • No. 4 Inferno - Fiery Campylotes
  • No. 14 Mid-Size Messenger - Any Medium Moth
  • No. 29 Defensive Diversion - Staudinger Longtail
  • No. 34 Flying Fortress - Any Large Moth
  • No. 44 Hawk v. Hummer - Any Hawkmoth Moth
  • No. 46 Pick Me Up - Any Medium Moth

9) Completing Offers

To see all available Offers, click on the gear icon on the top left corner of the screen to open up the Settings menu, then click on the Offers icon.

Offers range from application downloads to completing tasks. Paid offers have more lucrative rewards but most of the time the Glowbucks can be earned for free.

Usually each offer can only be claimed once among all Runaway games, so do consider if you prefer Glowbucks over Flutterbucks etc before doing an offer.

However, some players have reported their bad experiences with Fyber, claiming that certain offers not only don't pay out properly, their Support isn't helpful or responsive too. Some were even asked to "show proof that they completed the offers". If you encounter problems that you cannot resolve via Fyber's helpdesk, you may want to contact Runaway instead.

Do be careful while picking offers. There was once an issue where an offer forced players to download a virus onto their devices. I generally avoid any offer which requires me to visit a website instead of taking me to Google Play Store.

Despite Fyber's shady activities, the payouts can be quite attractive at times. The offers refresh and gets updated over time so you can always check back for new ones.

10) Florida Tree Snail

This will probably be most players' daily dose of free Glowbuks. You can watch an ad for a chance to earn several Glowbucks, and the rewards reset at midnight.

If you have trouble loading a video or claiming a reward, try clearing your game cache and re-starting the app before trying again.

All the best and good luck in racking up all those free Glowbucks~!

Full Moon Sky Gazing Fun

It's a Full Moon today! Did you manage to attract your Luna Moth yet?

Do you also know that there is a Full Snow Moon penumbral lunar eclipse today? You can even catch a green comet too!

If you are unable to see it, well, we still have our beautiful moon in Starlight hee hee.

I had some fun going on a photo taking spree in the game today, and here are some of the screenshots.

Just another starry starry sky

 Another pose...

Even the Bumblebee is happy!

And the Baby Bee Fly can't resist the moon too!

Instructions on how to get a clear sky in your game are available here. Remember to turn on your Effects settings to High if you want to see more stars in the sky!
