Adjust Your Display Resolution For Games In Samsung Devices

When I updated my Samsung Tab to Android 6, the first thing I noticed is that my image resolution dropped drastically when I launched my games. It seems that for some Samsung devices, the display resolution for games is reduced by default.

This is bad news for some of us, especially when we like to take high resolution screenshots to show off the beauty of the moths and butterflies in our games.

If you are affected by this, here is one method you can try to get back your high quality graphical gaming experience!

How to adjust your display resolution for Starlight / Flutter / any other games in Samsung Devices

1) Go to the Galaxy Apps store or the Google Play store and search for Game Tuner.

2) Download and launch it. Then click on the Gear icon for the game that you want to adjust.

3) Under "Resolution Ratio", adjust the slider bar to the max at 100% (or adjust it to any other value that you want).

4) When you are done, go back and launch your game. For Starlight / Flutter, you may have to re-download your game updates/assets if you have selected a higher resolution.

5) Once you enter the game, tadaaaa~! Enjoy your high resolution display~!

You can also play around with Game Tuner to adjust your settings for frame rates, texture quality, set custom modes etc. If you think that the games are taking a toll on your device, you can reduce your settings for a smoother gameplay.

Lastly, I also noticed that Game Tuner has helped to fix my graphical glitches in both Starlight and Flutter. If you are experiencing a weird mosaic Picasso-like game, and re-installing the game does not seem to help, you may want to try Game Tuner to fix your game display settings and get your game back on track.

Happy Starry Fluttering~! ♥
